AESCULUS octandra YELLOW BUCKEYE

The Yellow Buckeye is known for its striking yellow flowers that bloom in the spring. The flowers are followed by spiny fruits. The foliage of the Yellow Buckeye consists of large, palmately compound leaves, which turn yellow or golden in the fall. The bark is smooth and grayish-green when the tree is young.
