Pick-Up Orders
You do not need to schedule pickups unless you are sending a common carrier or sending in a full semi.
New Customers
In order to become a customer in our software please fill out the form below and return it to us at sales@brownsnursery.com, along with the sales tax form for your respective state.

Shipping Information
Areas We Currently Ship To
We arrange shipping via third party carriers on your behalf. We have a diverse network of dependable carriers we work with directly to keep freight as efficient as possible. We do not have an order minimum for orders shipping via common carrier, but we do work very hard to make sure that your order and freight charge make sense together.

Payment Terms

Payment when order is picked up, or an open account for those who have established credit with us. Open accounts are net 30 days from the date of invoice. Credit cards will not be accepted to pay a Net 30 balance after the date an invoice is received. A service charge of 2% monthly, or 24% annually, charged on all accounts unpaid after 30 days. New Customers are required to pay a nonrefundable 25% down on their first dig order.
Prices

Prices are listed for the trade only and cancel all previous prices offered by us. They are quoted F.O.B. our nursery and are subject to change without notice.

Anyone wishing to personally select and tag plant material in the nursery may do so at an additional charge of 10%.

Returns
​
We do not accept any returns of Boxwood. We do not accept any returns of material dug to order. Other plant material sold at wholesale may be returned under limited circumstances within two business days of the date it leaves the nursery for a 25% restocking fee at the sole discretion of A. Brown & Sons Nursery, Inc.
Cancellations​
Cancellations cannot be accepted once the material has entered the dig process.
Pick-Up Orders​
We cannot be responsible for the condition of any dug material if not picked up within 7 days after notification that the order is ready, unless special arrangements are made. A. Brown & Sons Nursery, Inc reserves the right to assess a holding charge, at a rate determined by the nursery, to orders not picked up within 7 days after notification that plants are ready. Additionally, orders that are not picked up within 7 days of notification that the plants are ready, may be placed back into into inventory and sold.
Claims​
All claims must be made within 2 business days of the receipt of goods. There will be no exceptions. There is not a guarantee on plants sold wholesale.

Questions regarding Nursery License requirement?
The State of Ohio requires any person who grows, buys and installs nursery stock for the purpose of reselling or reshipping in Ohio to have an Ohio Nursery Stock Dealer’s Certificate or Ohio Certificate of Nursery Inspection (what we call a ‘nursery license’). Its purpose is to ensure that nursery stock sold to the public is inspected and certified to be pest free.
Brown’s requires you to submit a copy of your nursery license for our files prior to your first purchase and prior to login assignment if we cannot find your name on the Ohio Dept. of Agriculture’s listings of active nursery licenses. Other states have similar licensing requirements – you may provide the license from your own state where applicable.
