BAPTISIA DECADENCE 'LEMON MERINGUE' FALSE INDIGO

Decadence® ‘Lemon Meringue’ Baptisia is a hardy, long-lived native perennial that produces striking lemon yellow flower spikes on charcoal-gray stems from late spring into early summer. Growing into a dense, vase-shaped clump about 3 feet tall and wide, it features attractive blue-green foliage that lasts from spring through frost, with decorative seed pods adding fall interest. Hardy in USDA Zones 4–9, this drought- and salt-tolerant, deer-resistant plant thrives in part to full sun and is an excellent choice for borders, landscapes, focal points, and pollinator gardens, where it attracts bees and butterflies.
