PARROTIA persica PERSIAN IRONWOOD

This colorful, spreading canopy of thick foliage emerges reddish purple to bronze in the spring and matures to glossy dark green in summer. This Persian Ironwood turns radiant shades of yellow, orange, and red in the fall.  It has attractive exfoliating bark with showy red stamen flowers on bare branches in late winter.
