Phlox subulata 'Emerald Blue' Creeping Phlox

Phlox are cold hardy and tolerant of heat.  Being a rapid spreader, they will bloom a carpet of deep blue color to fill spaces under taller trees, cover bark, banks or slopes.  They prefer 6 hours of full sun a day but don't mind some shade.
