Picea abies Norway Spruce

The Norway spruce is a fast growing woody, needled evergreen that are best suited for northern climates. It prefers full sun with moderately moist soil, but dislikes wet feet and hot & dry summers. It's green needles are 1" long with 4 sides that are saber-like.  Pendulous cones are 4-6" long with rounded scales.  Makes a great hedge or your lawn's Christmas tree.
