QUERCUS acutissima SAWTOOTH OAK

Sawtooth Oak has outstanding summer foliage with a crisp, clean appearance. Oblong to lance-shaped, chestnut-like, glossy dark green leaves have bristle-tipped marginal teeth at the terminal point of each parallel vein.  Acorn crops can be quite abundant and are an important source of food for wildlife. Leaves hang on thru the winter.
