QUERCUS coccinea SCARLET OAK

The Scarlet Oak, a native tree, has leaves that are glossy, dark green and sharp pointed lobes.  It retains it leaves well into winter and has the finest fall color of all the Oaks.  It displays brillant deep tones of red to scarlet purple each fall.
