QUERCUS ellipsoidalis NORTHERN PIN OAK

Closely related to Pin Oak, the Northern Pin tree shares many positive attributes and is also more tolerant of dry and alkaline soils.  The leaves are shed in the autumn, wheres Pin Oak leaves persist into the winter.
