QUERCUS robur x alba 'SCARLET LETTER' Oak

This upright, dense, compact growing oak is a hybrid of White Oak (alba) and English Oak (robur).  It has green leaves and because of its strong branching, it can withstand the weight of heavy snow and wind.  It has a vibrant red fall color and holds its leaves long into winter.  Scarlet Letter Oak is useful in making a screen or to line a driveway.
