ULMUS 'PATRIOT' ELM
Stiffly ascending branches of this National Arboretum introduction form a vase-shaped crown that is more narrow than typical of most elm cultivars. With fantastic foliage, desirable disease resistance, and tolerance of just about any growing conditions you have, this tree is the whole package. This deciduous tree is tough and was bred specifically to be pest and disease tolerant while maintaining the utmost eye-appeal. Each spring, its densely branched crown fills in with glossy mid-green foliage which turns bright yellow in the fall.
