VIBURNUM carlesii COMPACT CARLESI VIBURNMUM

The Compact Carlesi Viburnum is a compact shrub with highly fragrant flowers with a distinct cinnamon scent perfect for smaller yards and gardens. This slow-growing variety reaches a height and width of 3-4 feet, forming a rounded shape. Its broad, ovate leaves are serrated and dark green, sometimes flushed with copper, and measure up to 4 inches long. In the fall, the foliage typically turns a dull red but can occasionally display vibrant shades of wine-red to burgundy. These flowers give way to non-showy, berry-like drupes that mature to blue-black by late summer.
